Veritas ("Veritas", "we", "us") provides the Veritas photo verification platform as a subscription service. This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all paid subscription plans purchased through our website (veritas.in) or dashboard.
All payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited and/or Stripe Payments India Private Limited, both PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateways. Veritas does not store your card details, UPI ID, or banking credentials at any point.
By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the terms set forth in this policy. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Here is how cancellation works for each billing cycle:

To request a refund, follow these steps:
Send an email
Email support.veritas@gmail.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
Include required information
Organisation name, registered email address, Razorpay/Stripe transaction ID (from your payment confirmation email), reason for refund, and the amount you are requesting
Await confirmation
We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and provide a decision within 5 business days
Refund processed
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days of approval. Bank processing may add 3-5 additional business days

All refunds are processed to the original payment method used for the transaction. We cannot process refunds to a different payment method or bank account. If the original payment method is no longer valid (e.g., expired card), please contact us and we will work with the payment gateway to find an alternative.

Governing law: This Refund & Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This policy complies with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
